While searching for inspiration recently, I stumbled upon my old DeviantArt page, where I used to regularly upload my digital artworks. This page is a window into my artistic evolution, showcasing how I learned and improved over the years. Most of the work stems from my time in high school where I used old copies of Photoshop and Illustrator and emulated other artists to learn and develop my own style.
Looking back at these works, I’m reminded of the importance of revisiting your past as an artist. It’s not just about seeing how far you’ve come, but also about rediscovering the raw creativity and experimentation that defined those early years. Despite losing many of my old pieces to inaccessible hard drives, DeviantArt has preserved a part of my history, keeping those memories alive.
I’ve decided to repost these artworks here on my website, creating a second gallery of my early “R2on” works. It’s a way to honor that young artist who was eager to explore every facet of digital art and photo manipulation.
Exploring these old pieces again has been a powerful reminder of where I started and continues to inspire the work I create today.
